‘Favorite’ list is often used as reference and comparison to find out which best suited for us. So if it could help you, here is my favorite list of eye products:

Makeup remover: L’Oreal gentle lip and eye waterproof makeup remover. Maybelline’s is my less preferred option because somehow I have to use more product to remove the same makeup. Maybe it’s just me. Oil-based remover? Kose Softymo deep cleansing oil. Traveling? Biore make-up remover towelettes (different packaging).

Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion in #original. I have only tried 2 primers: UDPP and one from La Tulipe. Unfortunately the latter turned too oily on my already-oily eyelid. Worth a try for less-than-IDR 20k price. Never tried others and this primer in genie bottle (old version) lasts for at least 4 years because I only use it very sparingly and on special occasion.

Eyeshadow: NYX (Smoky Eyes palette [discontinued] and Charcoal -single) and Urban Decay (Smoked palette) are in my most reached stash for color range and intensity. I also have some from MAC and Milani (mine are all discontinued) which give wonderful color payoff, too. I choose eyeshadow mostly in palette because I would NOT finish any of them given in single colour, which usually come in bigger amount of product.

Liquid eyeliner: Maybelline Eye Studio Hyper Glossy (black), Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid (Radium, Smog), MAC Superslick (Defiantly feline), MAD Indelible 3 in 1 (Pandora), Revlon ColorStay (Blackest black). [I’m wondering about My Darling! People say it’s a steal for such price.]

Gel eyeliner: currently only keeping two; L’oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner in #Navy and MAD Indelible in #Endangered (forest green). Stila smudge pot has wonderful colors but they dried quickly 🙁

Pencil eyeliner: NYX Slide On (Gunmetal, Tropical green), MAC Pearlglide (Black Russian -discontinued, maybe Black Swan is the replacement), Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On (Stash, Gunmetal, Corrupt).

Mascara: Maybelline Hypercurl Cat Eyes and L’Oreal Lash Architect 4D. I like NYX Doll Eye #Volume and #Long lash and Majolica Majorca Lash Expander (discontinued), but the aforementioned are much easier to get.

Eye brushes: mostly by Make Up Show from Makeuptoolshop.com. Fine quality for the price. Love it.

I arrange my makeup in 3 groups: daily use, dressing table drawers for special occasion, and boxes for ‘waiting list’. I rotate them every 6 month (if I can remember it correctly) and the ones I won’t be using in a year would be ‘released’.

I love Sariayu eyeshadow colours, but the first palette I got years ago stung my eyelid so I steer away from them 🙁  I also love PAC eyeshadow. Bold colours, wonderful payoff. Too bad I broke the palette. Sariayu, PAC, and La Tulipe are brands of must-try eyeshadows.

Or a more simple reason: I got these first and haven’t finished them since first purchase. If your first purchase is a very good deal (quality and price wise), you might refrain to try other product unless you’re interested on other colour or type.
